Meet the MosChip Leadership Team
Mr. K. Pradeep Chandra, IAS (R), was a former Chief Secretary of the State of Telangana. He is an alumnus of IIT, Madras, and IIM Kolkata. He holds a master’s degree in Management & Finance from Atkinson Graduate School of Management, Willamette University, USA, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration, Ethics, and Citizen Participation in Governance, University of Southern California, USA.
Mr. K. Pradeep Chandra was selected to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1982, over 34 years experience in Government in various positions and functional areas:
- Chief Rationing Officer, Hyderabad
- Collector and District Magistrate, Vizag and Guntur Districts
- Director of Technical Education
- Secretary and later Special Chief Secretary, Finance Department
- Special Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department
- Special Chief Secretary, Revenue Department
- Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana
Mr. K. Pradeep Chandra is the Author of the Telangana State Industrial Policy and wrote the internationally acclaimed TS-iPASS single window system, resulting – Telangana State is ranked No. 1 in the Government of India “Ease of Doing Business” Ranking.
Mr. Venkata Sudhakar Simhadri is a serial entrepreneur and proven executive in the semiconductor industry. He was the Founder, President & CEO of Gigacom Semiconductor LLC & Founder / Director of Gigacom India (Both the Companies acquired by MosChip) and the driving force behind establishing IP licensing and design services business with leading semiconductor companies. Earlier to Gigacom, Venkata was the Founder, President & CEO of Time-to-Market (TTM) from 1998 till its acquisition by Cyient in 2008 and was its head of the Hi-tech Business Unit till 2012. Venkata has 30 years of experience, primarily working in the USA and India region. He did his B.E. from Andhra University and MS from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
Mr. Ram Reddy is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Madras, and holds an M.S.E.E. degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin. He has over 40 years of experience in Silicon Valley in the areas of design, manufacturing, and marketing of various integrated circuits (ICs). He has successfully started several semiconductor design companies and sold them to larger companies in the last 18 years.
His ventures included Lotus Designs Corp., Silicon Logic, and Startech Semiconductor, all of which were based in Silicon Valley. Prior to starting his first company in 1982, he worked as a Section Manager at American Microsystems in Santa Clara, California. He was responsible for designing the world’s first DSP chip. Ram has extensive experience in sub-contracting manufacturing needs of semiconductors and marketing these products worldwide. His customer list included major PC manufacturers such as Compaq Computers and communication technology companies such as Nokia Systems out of Finland.
Mr. Damodar Rao Gummadapu has more than 25 years of global experience across various Fortune 500 companies including big 5 consulting companies including KPMG, Bearing Point, Deloitte, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer.
Mr. Damodar Rao Gummadapu is the co-founder of Techwave. He is a proven leader, entrepreneur, and instrumental in Techwave’s rapid growth. He has tremendous experience and vision for the role of technology solutions for business growth, optimization, and expansion. In his leadership, Techwave has not only grew in size but also expanded globally into Europe, Middle East, and APAC regions. is the driving force behind Techwave’s journey to the Present position. His foresight has been instrumental in the company’s exponential growth by venturing into global markets and diversifying into varied service domains.
Mr. Damodar Rao Gummadapu has served on the Board of MosChip Semiconductor Technology. He is instrumental in many initiatives to put the Company on the fast-track growth trajectory that is witnessed in the recent past.
Mr. Damodar Rao Gummadapu follows the three principles of success as propounded by Jack Welch and that is to satisfy clients, engage employees and also maintain the cash flow.
Mr. Damodar Rao Gummadapu is a Commerce Graduate and a qualified Chartered Accountant and Management & Cost Accountant. He has a great passion for Social Responsibility activities and has a long list of activities that is he is taking up, and one of them is to take IT to his own village.
Mr. Raja Praturi is a Commerce Graduate and Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has over 35 years of experience in corporate and international taxation, business restructuring, M&A services, corporate strategies, group taxation, due diligence audits & corporate advisory services.
Mr. Raja Praturi is currently the Director of Annapurna Studios Private Limited and Designated Partner in PRSV & Co. LLP
He was also the founder partner of Praturi & Sriram (P&S), Chartered Accountants, which is in consulting and assurance practice for over 32 years and was established in December 1985.
Mr. D.G. Prasad is a qualified Chartered Accountant and had been a Career Banker for over 33 years. He started his Banking career with Canara Bank and moved over to Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) in its formative stage. While being with Exim Bank, as a Chief General Manager, he was the Head of Corporate Banking, Agri-Business, and SME Business Groups. He holds considerable expertise in trade finance, international finance, merchant banking, corporate strategies, mergers and acquisitions, loan syndications, international negotiations, and co-financing with Multilateral Funded Agencies. He served as a member of Industry and Trade Bodies at the national level. He served as a Consultant with African Development Bank for the Design and Implementation of a Business Solution Centre for SMEs. He has been a guest faculty at Business Schools on International Finance and International Marketing. Mr. D G Prasad is at a present a Corporate Advisor and a practicing Chartered Accountant.
Mr. D. G. Prasad is also an Independent Director on the Boards of Natco Pharma Limited, Suven Life Sciences Limited, and Gokak Textiles Limited.
Mrs. Madhurika Nalluri Venkat is presently serving as a Board member in IQuest Enterprises Private Limited, Mapple Enterprises Private Limited, Magica Sports Ventures Private Limited, and Lakshmi Finance and Industrial Corporation Limited.
Madhurika started her career as a Probationary Officer in Andhra Bank and went on to become an Assistant General Manager. During the 29 years of her professional career, she worked in diverse roles and has experience in Retail Operations, Corporate Lending, Legal and Human Resources.
Subsequently, she was associated with Mylan Labs for 8 years as Head –HR and Corporate Communications and for 3 years at MAA Television Network Limited.
She holds a Law Degree from Nagarjuna University with distinction.
Her hobbies include listening to music and reading management-related books.
Rajeev Krishnamoorthy is an entrepreneur and executive whose focus has been on innovating and commercializing new technologies in emerging and rapidly growing markets. Most recently, Rajeev was the General Manager of the Communications and Timing Business at Maxim Integrated, which he joined via the acquisition of his startup, Scintera. Prior to Scintera, Rajeev was involved in two other startups – as founder and CEO of TZero Technologies (acquired by NDS Surgical Imaging) and Iospan Wireless (acquired by Intel). He began his career at Bell Labs conducting research in communications and data networking, and in the wireless LAN division of Lucent Technologies where he played a pioneering role in the development of the earliest 802.11 and 11(b) (WiFi) products which enabled the first widely-deployed wireless LANs.
Rajeev is closely involved with the venture and academic worlds, having worked at two venture capital firms, Globespan Capital Partners and Tallwood Venture Capital, as an investor, advisor, and board member of several venture-backed startups, and as a Consulting Professor in the Electrical Engineering department at Stanford University. Rajeev earned his PhD from Cornell and his BS from Caltech.
