SoC Bring-Up and Validation Use Case

The client is a leading US-based computing solutions company providing solutions for SoC-based microcontrollers, catering to defense, automotive, and industrial applications. The client required a design evaluation platform to validate their ASIC part for the silicon validation phase. This is an ARM-based SoC that has support for CEVA DSP Processor, DDR2 controller, Embedded SRAM, SRAM/ NOR flash (SMC) controller which supports external NOR flash and SRAM, DMA controller, Gigabit Ethernet interface controller, VIC, I2S, SPI, UART, GPIO, RTC, Watchdog modules. The client required the design and development of complex hardware evaluation platforms that support firmware and software development via IC fabrication and bring-up.
