(Dec. 4, 2020) The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) is proud to announce the award recipients honored at this year’s GSA Awards Virtual Ceremony that took place yesterday, Dec. 3. For over a quarter-century, the GSA Awards have recognized the achievements of top-performing semiconductor companies in several categories ranging from outstanding leadership to financial accomplishments, as well as overall respect within the industry.
I. Individual - Rising Women of Influence Award
Jaya Jagadish – WINNER
CVP, Silicon Design Engineering, AMD India Engineering Lead
As India Engineering Lead, Jaya Jagadish is responsible for AMD’s R&D work out of India and for fostering a culture of innovation, inclusive growth and corporate responsibility at the company’s India Development Centre. Jaya became part of India leadership team in 2011 as Director and in 2015 was given the responsibility to lead the engineering team in India. In 2018, she was recognized by the international publication, Diversity Journal among the “2018 Women Worth Watching For”.
