The client is US based leading semiconductor company offering FPGA, programmable SoCs, and Adaptive
Compute Acceleration Platform. With dynamic processing technology and advance tools, they drive rapid
innovation across a wide span of industries and technology domain, from consumer to cars to the cloud.
The client approached MosChip for Image Signal Processing (ISP) solution integration with their
Heterogeneous Multiprocessing Platform’s pre-silicon stage SOC using camera sensor’s inputs. The solution
is targeted to Automotive industry for controlling autonomous vehicles.
Image Signal Processing (ISP) is typically a digital processing & image quality enhancement of an input data
in embedded designs based on SoC and FPGA devices. The ISP improves image quality by applying
compression and decompression algorithms on the images dataset before been displayed as output.
